After six years of absence, the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (ASMINDO) is again holding an international furniture and craft exhibition, namely IFFINA (Indonesia Furniture & Design Expo 2023). It is hoped that this furniture exhibition will be one of the steps for the rise of the furniture industry in Indonesia.
What is IFFINA ?
IFFINA 2023 is an international scale furniture exhibition initiated by ASMINDO. ASMINDO itself is the oldest furniture and craft association in Indonesia because it was founded in 1988. This association has 23 regional commissioners spread throughout the country and has hundreds of members from various types of industrial businesses, both large, medium, small and micro industries.
This year, IFFINA is a showcase in Indonesia in five main product categories, namely furniture, craft, project design, homeware and home fabric, as well as decorative & gifts. IFFINA 2023 is expected to become a trendsetter in the Southeast Asia region as a furniture and craft exhibition in the second circle, according to the tagline that is being carried this year, namely ‘The New Sourcing Circle in Asia‘.
IFFINA 2023 Time and Location
ASMINDO will again hold the IFFINA exhibition, Indonesia Furniture and Design Expo 2023. This year’s IFFINA exhibition is the 10th time ASMINDO has held it on September 14-17 at ICE (Indonesia Convention & Exhibition) BSD with an area of 6 halls. This exhibition will feature five main categories, namely furniture, craft, project design, homeware and home fabric, as well as decorative & gift. The targeted number of visitors to take part in this exhibition is around 10,000 people.
IFFINA 2023 Exhibitors
IFFINA 2023 will be attended by 400 furniture and craft companies from Indonesia and internationally. Later, companies in the furniture and craft industry will showcase their superior products. Of the 400 companies participating, 90 percent are from Indonesia.
This time, IFFINA Expo is supported by three ministries namely the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin), Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop UKM), Ministry of Trade (Kemendag), as well as Bank Indonesia (BI).
Wisanka Indonesia Present at IFFINA 2023
For this year’s IFFINA event, we Wisanka Indonesia will be in Hall 3 Booth C11. With a booth area of around 126 square meters, we carry the latest collections for indoor furniture products such as dining sets, living sets and modular sofas. We produce all of these products from the best quality solid teak wood and in house production methods using high quality furniture making machinery products.
